Anniversary Trash the Dress session

It still surprises me when people are not familiar with what a Trash the Dress session is. So, I am glad to have done a few recently to get the word out there. These are sessions with couples (or just the bride) sometime after the wedding when the bride can wear the dress again to get some awesome images. We are not rushed as on the wedding date, we can go to crazy, fun spots to shoot - rivers, parks, fields, barns, alleys, ball fields...make it personal. And, we are not worried about getting the dress dirty as on the wedding day. No, you don't actually have to trash the dress - we just have loads of fun with it! Chances are, it's looking pretty shabby after the reception anyway! And believe me, you won't ever wear it again!
Chrissey & Mike celebrated their 2nd anniversary with a TTD session. It was an especially sweet session for me since she is my niece. Taylor & I were actually unable to attend her wedding so having the chance to see her in her dress was so special. We went out to the dam at Grand Rapids and were blown away by how beautiful it is out there. Taylor & I were actually squealing in delight at the yummy evening light. The images posted were straight out of the camera (no crazy post processing done here!) The light shone on them better than any spotlight or flash could have.
More images are in the TTD album of Serendipity Photography Facebook page.
Thank you, Mike & Chrissey, for allowing us to share your anniversary evening with you - you two were perfect - right down to the seaweed fight! Love ya!
