Computer crazy!!

Mercury needs to get out of retrograde - now!!! At least that's what Nicole says messes up all the technology... I've been fighting computer issues all day. My online proofing galleries are suddenly 1.2 gigs over space, so I am unable to upload any new galleries. I've spent all day deleting expired galleries & still don't have enough space. How is it that I can delete 800 + images & still not be able to upload 31 images??!!
I will now need to stick to my policy of having a deadline on the online galleries. Orders can still be placed once the galleries are removed, just not viewable through the website. Please call me with any questions. If you have galleries ready to expire, please get your orders together before Fall season gets into full swing - I'd greatly appreciate it! Hope you're all surviving this retrograded Mercury thing!!

Race for the Cure

On Sunday, Joe, Nicole, Courtney & I joined 18,000 other Toledoans in the Race for the Cure. What an amazing event! It is quite a spectacle to see so many people come out to support such a worthwhile cause. The weather held out for us & we really enjoy walking around downtown. It was great to run into so many friends, too. I was especially honored to finish out the walk with Kelly & her family. Joe & I attended high school with Kelly & her siblings & we ran into them all about 1/2 mile from the end. Kelly was diagnosed with breast cancer a couple years ago & is doing awesome! It was so touching to see everyone celebrating her victory at the finish line. Congrats, Kelly! You are my hero!!

Great Nephews~

Wow, I hate to say "great nephews"! That makes me sound so old! But, they are Great nephews - super cute little guys. Evan and Cameron were born less than 12 hours apart - their moms are sisters - my beautiful nieces. They will have so much fun growing up together, along with Evan's big brother, Noah. Congratulations, girls, they are awesome!

Lake Senior

Ben, from lake High School, came for his senior session yesterday. He brought along his Ohio State gear, karate clothes, band uniform & bass drum. I love it when kids personalize their sessions! Have a safe & fun Homecoming, Ben & say hi to Rachel!

Jackson

Sweet little Jackson recently celebrated his first birthday, unfortunately, in the hospital. Jackson has been an inpatient most of the summer. We did a make shift session in his hospital room. He is so adorable & cooperative that we could have done his session anywhere - the pictures would turn out great no matter what! I hope these pictures make Mom & Dad happy - they deserve it! Get well fast, Jackson!

Inspiration!

On Saturday, Courtney & I had the honor of joining my friend, Kathy, in celebrating her wonderful mother. Lulu is battling ovarian cancer & her supportive family organized a team in the 2009 Ovarian Cancer walk at UT-MUO. Kathy & her siblings went all out; t-shirts, hats, wrist bands, cookies, etc. The look on Lulu's face when she came around the corner & was surprised to see @ 50 friends & family members there for her was absolutely priceless! The emotion, love & support was so inspirational. God Bless You, Lulu - good luck with this round!
More images from Team Lulu will be on Serendipity Photography Facebook page.

A few more shots from Russ & Lyndsay's great day! Did I mention the awesome candy buffet??!!

There is never enough space here to post all the images I want. Find us on Facebook to see a few more images from this wedding.

The church venue was ideal for their outdoors portraits - the grounds are incredible. We then headed to "my barn" location for some fun shots.

Go Browns!

Little Browns Fan, Remy, came in for his 1 year pictures tonight. I just LOVE this little guy. So sweet, funny & sooo busy! He learned to walk just a few days ago and hasn't sat still since! I don't think I've ever seen a little one 'jump" like he was - so incredibly funny. He would literally jump up, try to catch his balance & take off. Cracked us up! And my favorite part of the session - I got the best hug & kiss from him when they were leaving - what a lovey!
