Romance at the Zoo

Not only did Jen & Dustin meet at the Zoo, but Dustin proposed to Jen there. What a perfect locale for their engagement session. We had a bright sunny day & they were so cute together.

makeshift studio

Since my studio is in the midst of renovations, I am unable to do indoor sessions. However, we needed to get Kierstin's newborn session done while she was still teeny tiny. We made due with a temporary set up in my dining room-nice natural light! Love her perfect little hair do!

Mini Sessions

I will be offering Mini Sessions this year. These once monthly sessions will be held one Thursday a month (Following Thursday will be rain date) at various locations. Sessions will be 20-30 minutes, offer 12-15 images to choose from, session fee $25.00. Great cost savings that still allows for creative, location portraiture! Schedule:

Mother's/Father's Day Specials

Just wanted to put out there a little advance notice about this years' Mother's & Father's Day Specials! This is a great opportunity to get some fun portraits of your kids and save some money!! Surprise Mom or Dad with pix of the kids, get Mommy & Me shots, generational portraits or my fave-have the kids dressed like Mommy or Daddy. How cute in Dad's work hat or in Mom's purse & heels. Use your imagination.

Dates for these sessions are: Mother's Day - April 20, 21, 22nd

Father's Day - June 8, 9, 10th

These sessions are in studio only, 8 -10 images to choose from, packages available & best part - NO session fee (please bring a canned item for donation)

Fitting Senior Session

When I suggested that we do a session at the Downtown Library, I had no idea how appropriate it was! Christina happens to spend every Sunday afternoon at the library & will be studying library science in college. O.K., that would be serendipity! There is such great natural light in the atrium - even on a gloomy March day... Enjoy the rest of your Senior year, Christina!

Looking for Senior Reps-2010!

Senior portrait season is just around the corner. I will again be offering great specials for senior reps. I accept 3 seniors per school who will get a FREE session, 16 free wallets, 50 free rep cards & 20% off all orders placed within 30 days of session. Sessions must be held before June 15th. Birthday Princess

Katelyn was so sweet in her 1st Birthday outfit-wearing the tiara proudly. She was even cooperative enough for us to get some Easter shots, too. What a cutie! Happy Birthday, Katelyn!

Bud Man

O.K., I'm not promoting underage drinking!! Little Remy is just wearing his Daddy's work hat. Doesn't he have the best Hershey Kiss eyes?! I could just eat him up! Thanx to Grandma Sally for bringing him to see me.

Summer session in March!!

I bet Courtney had no idea she would actually get to wear her summer outfits when she scheduled her senior session for mid-March!! Yesterday was absolutely AMAZING outside & we took advantage of it by getting some great shots at Wolcott. Enjoy the rest of your senior year at Springfield, Courtney!

Seasonal Sessions

I've had some inquiries into Easter pictures. I will not be offering Easter sessions this year due to the timing with my studio renovations. We will be having the hardwood flooring installed soon & trying to schedule around that made Easter sessions too difficult this year. I will be offering Mothers' & Fathers' Day specials this year. Great chance to get some generational shots w/daughters, moms & grandmas or cute shots of kids celebrating their dads. Use your imagination. These studio specials are at a cost savings to you-NO session fees! Watch for details!

Chicago Weekend

Went to Chicago this past weekend for a seminar & some fun. Joe & I took the train out on Fri, then the girls drove out & met us Fri night. We celebrated St. Patrick's Day on Saturday by watching the parade-WOW-their parades are not like ours. We finally left after 2 full hours & the end was still not in sight! Although it was a great parade, we couldn't stand there any longer! We were ready for lunch. We joined the rest of the crazy Irish revelers at Bennigans' pub... Later, we skated at the outside rink-how much fun was that?! It was good to get away-but much more tiring than a beach vacation! We're definitely getting ready for that one! We missed you, Taylor!

Engagement session at the library

I love shooting in out of the ordinary places. Due to our "awesome" winter weather, we are limited to sheltered spots for sessions-therefore, we need to be very creative. The downtown Toledo Library is an incredible vintage building with lots of bright, open lighting. Amanda & Brandon looked great for their engagement session--we even got a shot with their church in the distance!
