March of Dimes Walk, Toledo, Ohio

Nicole, Courtney & I photographed the March of Dimes walk on Sunday at the Lucas County Rec. Center. I actually love participating in these walks. There is so much love & support for the causes & the people involved. March of Dimes supports premature babies & their families - they provide services, therapies, research & education. It's amazing how far neonatal care has come in the last decade. So many babies thriving that would not have fared so well in the past.
Fortunately, the looming rains held off until the last of the walkers made it back from the 3 mile trail. It was so touching & inspiring to hear the stories from these families & see the littlest troopers - so darn cute! Mini Sessions, 2010

It's mini session time again! I offer smaller sessions through the year to give clients a chance to get some great location portraits of their kids & families. These mini sessions are 20 minutes (good for super active kids...), 10-12 images online and are only $25.00. This is a real bargain and allows you to participate in several minis if you like.
Vintage Play Time is the theme for May. This will be held at a rustic, awesome location. We will have old tricycles, strollers, chairs or bring your own heirloom props. I have some adorable outfits, too , if you need something vintage.

Roxy & Dutchess were both a bit nervous at the beginning of their sessions, but loosened up & got some great images. We did resort to putting Dutchess in the big basket. Roxy ended up in a Corona case (a nod to her heritage) and in a doll chair. So fun...

Furry Friends

We held our first Furry Friends special on Saturday. Twelve dogs were photographed here & we were able to donate 8 large bags of dog & cat food to the Toledo Humane Society. Thanks to all who contributed. It was great to meet you all!

Baby Plan

I have been tossing around the idea of a Baby Plan for sometime now & finally have it down on paper. The Baby Plan includes 4 sessions; newborn, 3 months, 6 months & one year. A portrait package is included with each session as well as 25 newborn announcements & 25 birthday announcements. A framed collage completes the plan after the 12 month session. The cost is $349., which is a substantial savings from individual sessions, packages, etc. Purchasing a Baby Plan is a great way to assure that you capture all those important stages in the babes first year & keeps you on track- we all know how hectic that first year is.

Announcing Mini Sessions - 2010

I will once again be offering Mini sessions for 2010! These sessions are @ 20 minutes, 8-10 images to choose from & only $25.00. They are various themes & locales throughout the season to provide for some creative, unique, custom portraits of your children at an affordable price. Break out of the chain studio rut - come have some fun!
