Gabe's little brother

It was so good to see Gabe (and his parents) and meet his new little brother, Will. These boys are so adorable. I truly think Gabe is the sweetest 2 year old I've ever met! Sure he'll teach little brother to be the same.

Zoo Preview

We began Nicolle & Chad's engagement session at the site of their June wedding; the formal gardens at the Toledo Zoo. It's going to be a beautiful ceremony. We then headed downtown for some urban shots. Can't wait for your wedding, guys- you're naturals!!

What a Weekend!

What a weekend!!! The weather was outstanding-I had a great time at Alicia & Adam's wedding. Christian did a rockstar job as my "second shooter" while Nicole & Courtney covered an out of town wedding. I'll be posting lots of images from these soon. I've got 3 weddings to finish editing! Here's some shots from todays' sessions. Caitlin was completing her senior session (time got away from her this winter & we never got her snow portraits done). I think these images with the spring colors at the gardens make up for it.

Worth the Wait

Can we all agree that today was well worth the wait. All those cold, wet, dreary days & look at it now! I actually had the whole morning off before I head to Detroit for a seminar this evening. If I didn't really want to attend this seminar, I'd for sure be playing hooky. We have 2 weddings and an engagement session this weekend-it will be great to be out shooting! I took a little break during my yard work to shoot a few images of spring around the yard. Enjoy & TGIF!!

Jimmy conceded to do some "Mom Shots"...to make Mom happy. Even while he was being "normal", we had fun!

Funnest Senior Session of the Year Award

Jimmy definitely brought his game today-and lots of laughs!! Mom had to convince him to have his senior portraits taken, so Jimmy decided to have a bit of fun & spoof typical senior sessions. He came prepared with all the usual props (sports equipment-table tennis paddles; pets-ok, so some were the neighbors' dogs; chartreuse green satin suit & redneck outfit). Jimmy, you made my day!

Steve aka Mr. Clean

I've never seen an 18 year old who keeps his car as clean as this. He's very proud; as he should be. I love it when the kids bring along props to showcase their interests. Thanx to Taffy, too, for being such a good girl!

Morgan

Time for Morgan's 1 year pictures. She was sooo busy, exploring every inch of the new studio. Definitely a follow around & shoot kinda girl! Love the tutu!!

Save the Dates

Lisa & Chris got some shots done for the Save the Dates for their Aug, 2010 destination wedding. I'm still up for the cruise, guys!! I'm sure it will be a blast!

Lucas, Mommy & Daddy

It was time for 2nd birthday pictures for Lucas already! His parents were one of my first maternity sessions, then Lucas was the cute little dark haired baby done at 1 week old. I've enjoyed seeing him grow over the last 2 years & can't wait to watch their next baby grow, too! Happy Birthday, Lucas!
