Winter projects

I've been spending the winter "down time" getting caught up on projects, learning new programs & organizing for the next season. Trying to update the website, also. I added a few new sections to the Featured Galleries. I wanted to provide a way for clients to view products that we offer - check out the featured galleries to see samples of canvas gallery wraps, image boxes, storybook frames & image boxes. Lots of fun new stuff! There are also featured galleries highlighting some of Toledo's most popular wedding venues. Check back often to see updates! New music, too - hope you enjoy. Shoot me a comment here, an email, or message me on the Serendipity Photography Facebook page. Hope you're having a warm, productive winter!
Items as shown: Guest books, coffee table albums, image boxes, senior storybook frame & canvas gallery wraps.

Baby Nicholas

Did I mention how much I love photographing babies of my Bride & Grooms?! I shot the wedding of Amy & Jim several years ago & now had the pleasure of a session with their little guy, Nicholas. What a cutie pie! Nicholas spent several weeks in the NICU & has certainly caught up with his prematurity - he was practically crawling off the posing table. Congratulations, Amy & Jim - he is beautiful

Outside, finally...

It felt so good to have an outside shoot - even if it was short lived! Fresh air is so good for the soul.
I did Emily's senior session this past summer & her Mom wanted some shots of her & brother, Mike before he heads off to the West Coast. Cleo, their super sweet, super calm lab made an appearance in several shots, as did Mom herself!
Thanks for getting me outdoors, guys. Emily, enjoy the rest of your senior year & Mike - best of luck to you - Have Fun!

Reminiscing...

While I planned on "cleaning up" my website; editing out old photos, etc., I ended up spending way too much time reminiscing over all the photos. Wow-there's a lot of images on there & many from several years ago. I really need to eliminate some & get new images up. I don't have the heart to delete many of them, though - always too many favorites!
It was so enjoyable to think back to the weddings - I've now done many of their baby sessions...engagement pictures whom I've since shot their weddings & even seniors who've become brides! All the images tell stories and I'm so very fortunate to be a part of these special moments in their lives.
Guess I'm feeling a bit nostalgic as I reminisce through the years - I only hope that all my clients (friends) continue receiving enjoyment through these images for years to come!

Baby Cakes

I was so happy to see Wendylea & Dan and new baby, Elise. I did a maternity session with them this fall & couldn't wait to meet the babe. Elise is absolutely adorable & so happy & sweet. Enjoy!

A Year in the Life of Bella

The best part of my "job" is getting to share special moments with so many people. Whether it be a couple on their wedding day, seniors marking that very important time in their life or recording memories of babies as they grow-I am welcomed into their lives to help preserve these memories!
Along the way, many of my clients become friends - an added perk! I am fortunate enough to have met Isabella & her parents. Bella is their first baby, and therefore, she came in every 3 months for her portraits! First babies tend to get that extra attention! Bella is always a delight to photograph & it's always great to visit with her Mom & Dad! Although I had a hard time not posting ALL of the images from Bella's 1 year session, I wanted to share images from her sessions over the year. It's amazing to see how she's grown - cute as ever in each shot! Check out Serendipity Photography Facebook page to see more of Bella's 1st birthday session. Happy Birthday, Isabella!

Winter Senior

Yes, you can do senior sessions in the winter. We started Ellen's session in the studio, then ventured out for some great snow shots. Although it was about 17 degrees, there was sun & not much wind. Her outfits were perfect for outdoors - fun stuff! Enjoy the rest of your senior year, Ellen!~
