We spent one day cruising through Tracy Arm viewing glaciers; some melted due to recent warm weather, but we were able to get in closer due to the lack of icebergs. A train ride took us to through the mountains & across the summit into Canada. It's bizarre when you reach the top - from green & beautiful to barren - looked like Mars - and cold (about 40!)
