Trash the Dress Session along the Maumee

Lindsey & Nick were married last summer & we planned on following up their beautiful engagement & wedding pictures with a Trash the Dress session. As we all know, the first year of married life is a bit hectic. Lindsey & Nick both got new jobs and moved out of the area. I was so excited when Lindsey called & said she was ready for the session!
We met up on Sat evening and did their romantic session along the Maumee river. The lighting was perfect and Lindsey looked gorgeous in her dress, again! Nick, he looked pretty great, too!
I absolutely love doing Trash the Dress sessions - it is a time to take unique, creative pictures of the couple without being rushed and worried about getting the dress dirty before the reception. We work with the bride to determine the location and are willing to be conservative or as funky as they want! Lindsey was willing to do just about anything but wallow around in pure mud! The river was very low, so we were able to go out in the middle to capture the path of the water & the great light.
