On Sunday, Joe, Nicole, Courtney & I joined 18,000 other Toledoans in the Race for the Cure. What an amazing event! It is quite a spectacle to see so many people come out to support such a worthwhile cause. The weather held out for us & we really enjoy walking around downtown. It was great to run into so many friends, too. I was especially honored to finish out the walk with Kelly & her family. Joe & I attended high school with Kelly & her siblings & we ran into them all about 1/2 mile from the end. Kelly was diagnosed with breast cancer a couple years ago & is doing awesome! It was so touching to see everyone celebrating her victory at the finish line. Congrats, Kelly! You are my hero!!
