Proud Big Sister!

I was so completely inspired & blown away last weekend by my little brother, Joe. He & his fiance, Crystal, came in town from Sunny California only to be greeted by 40 degree, rainy weather! This did not deter Joe from his goal for the trip- to complete the Glass City Marathon. Not only was this his first Marathon, the conditions were miserable & he was not prepared w/proper cold weather running apparel. However, he had set a goal to complete it & that's exactly what he did!! While we whined & shivered just watching the runners, Joe & the other runners kept going to obtain their goal.

I have to admit, I had tears flowing watching them cross the finish line, knowing how hard they all worked to reach that point. The physical training & agony must have been minimal compared to the mental preparations!!

I'm sooo proud of you, Joe!!!
