Cabin Fever

O.K., is everyone else out there suffering from cabin fever?? I need the temps to rise at least above 25 degrees so I can get out and walk with Zoe! And why is it, when we are least busy, we can't seem to get as much done. Been having a few sessions per week & meetings with potential Brides & Grooms, but basically down time this time of year. Need to spend these slower paced days getting taxes in order, updating files & getting things all lined up for busy season---but instead I baked oatmeal chocolate chip cookies today!! Maybe tomorrow....

A final post to thank everyone who helped with this special event. To all my brother in laws for having patience with me & all the meetings I insisted upon. To all my sister in laws for helping with invites, decorations, decisions & all the details that make a party a success. To my girls who took over my cameras so I could reside on the dance floor ALL night long! And lastly, to my incredible in laws for making all this possible in the first place! Love you all!!

Of course, we had them do all the traditions of a wedding. They cut the cake, had a special dance & kissed on demand (over zealous a bit, Bud!). We were hoping this would be the wedding they never had & I think we succeeded.

Golden Anniversary

This past Saturday was the wonderful, elegant 50th Anniversary party for my in-laws, Bud & Janice. We have been working on this surprise party for the last year & it was definitely worth all the effort. I'm not sure how we actually pulled off the surprise, but we did!! It was incredible to watch their faces as they realized all their family, friends & relatives from out of town were there to celebrate with them. The heartfelt toasts, prayers & presentations brought tears to all. Not to be outdone were 10 of the youngest grandkids that sang an original song to their Grandparents---super, duper cuteness!! Congratulations, Bud & Janice, You deserve all the best!!

Birthday Princess

Violet came in today for her 1 year birthday session. How cute is her birthday princess hat & personalized outfit?! She, of course, wasn't as thrilled with the hat as we were. Happy Birthday, Violet!
