Furry Friends Special! Toledo area pet photographer
Show some lovin' to your Furry Friends. We all love our pets - they are a part of our family. Bring them in for some special treatment with their own portrait session. We will be doing mini sessions on Sun., April 10th - bring dog or cat food for the Humane Society in lieu of a session fee. Packages available.
No worries: we have wood floors, lots of paper towels, pet treats & we are used to big, jumpy dogs and little, yippy dogs!
Call or message for your appt. today!
Newborn Brody - Toledo area baby photography
I went out to the home of little Brody yesterday for his newborn session. We decided to do the session at their home so the baby & big brother, Brock, would be more comfortable. I really enjoy shooting at people's homes - you can incorporate more of their personality into the images; blankets, toys, flooring (I loved the wood floor in their kitchen!) Brock was being such a great big brother, showing me around the house & loving on his brother. Congrats, Mom & Dad, on your happy, healthy family!

Ray of Sunshine
I have to say I have been in a bit of mid winter funk lately. I am truly over the blah skies & being stuck inside. I don't remember a winter this drawn out in a long time...
Thank goodness for little rays of sunshine! Mine was named Emma Therese & she is a perfect little 7 pound bundle that I got to photograph today. Emma is the 8 day old daughter of someone that I have known since she was a small girl. So happy for the whole family to welcome a baby girl - she joins big brother, Jeff, who you may remember from my blog posts - he usually has candy in his portraits!
Thank You, Trish, for bringing both your babes to see me today! Congrats on your beautiful family!

A.W. 2012 Senior Rep - Isabella
I'm gearing up for another busy senior photography season! My senior reps are a great way to get the word out there about Serendipity Photography & the reps are rewarded with great deals! Contact me if you know someone interested in being a senior rep - still have some openings!
Isabella is a 2012 Senior Rep from Anthony Wayne High School. She is the younger sister of one of my 2010 brides. We had so much fun with them at the wedding that she decided to come back for her senior pictures - thanks so much!
We did an early session with Isabella to get her some rep cards & will do another session when it warms up a bit. Isabella is a Huge Lady Gaga fan, so we met down in BG at Finders record store - what a cool place; of course, I loved the vintage feel & the warm wood floors. It was so beautiful on Sat. that we were able to get some outdoor shooting in, too. Isabella is absolutely stunning - can't wait for her next session!
Maumee Senior Rep- Caitlin!
Caitlin is the younger sister of Taylor's friend, Chelsea. I remember Caitlin when she was a toddler and growing up through grade school. I haven't seen her for a few years & was floored to see that she is all grown up & so gorgeous! Where does the time go?
Caitlin is a junior at Maumee and is a 2012 senior rep for me. We'll do another outdoor session later this spring, but thought we'd get some early shots in at the Monclova Center. Caitlin's equally gorgeous friend, Chelsea, came along for some "friend's" shots. How lucky am I to get to "shoot" such beauties!
Senior Guys - toledo area senior photography
I had a couple of senior guys come out for sessions at the Monclova Historical Center. They are both seniors this year & either repeat clients or referrals of other clients.
Keith is a senior at Springfield; he is the uncle of Lauren, who is seen on my blog often. I really enjoyed hearing Keith's mad guitar skills while shooting his session!
Alec is a senior at Perrysburg. I did his brother's session a few years back & am always happy to see siblings come through! I thought the shot with the vintage high school composites on the walls was a fun twist on the senior pix...my strange sense of style...
Enjoy the rest of your senior year!
Little Mr. Zane
Have I said how much I Love newborns? The smell of baby lotion, the wrinkly skin, the way they curl up so sweetly... mmmm, love them...
Zane's parents brought him for a newborn session when he was @ 10 days old - early enough to get him still "fresh"! Zane's Momma received a Serendipity gift certificate for her baby shower. What a thoughtful idea - who doesn't run out of things to include in their registry?! Don't forget to include Serendipity gift cards on your registry or as gifts!
Looking forward to seeing Zane again soon - they have joined the Baby Plan, so we'll be doing 3 more sessions in his first year! Awesome!
Abbie & David's reception
Abbie & David
Since Abbie & David are not from this area, they had no ideas for the location pictures. The Toledo Museum of Art is generally a sure, safe bet for winter pictures - the sidewalks & steps are always clear of snow & ice...very important for girls in heels! I love shooting winter sessions in nature areas, but not too feasible when the subjects are all dressed in formal gowns & stilettos! They all looked great against the marble & pillars at the museum & we had just enough snow to give the images that wintery look! And I think the guys had ways of keeping themselves a little warm...
Abbie & David's WInter Wedding - Toledo area wedding photographer
Abbie & David celebrated their February wedding in classic winter style! Deep purple accents looked great with the snowy background.
Loads of family & friends traveled in for the big day - David is from Southern Ohio & Abbie from Michigan, so they chose a neutral, "in between locale" for their wedding! A great time was had by all! I'm sure the newlyweds had a great time escaping the winter chill on their honeymoon to Mexico! Congratulations, Abbie & Davey!
