Baby Miles! Toledo area children's photographer
Beautiful little boy....It was great to get to meet little Miles today. I photographed his proud parents' wedding a few years back & have actually known his Mom since she was in grade school. Boy, does it make me feel old to see these "kids" that I have watched grow up become adults with kids! It's awesome to see, but humbling all the same. Somehow I don't feel that time is really going by that fast until I see my girls' friends toting around car seats & diaper bags!
Nicole & Dan, I'm so happy for you - Miles is absolutely perfect!

Erin & Kurtis - September Wedding
Erin & Kurtis were married Sept. 25th - a beautiful, seasonably warm day! The ceremony was held at All Saints in Rossford with the reception at the Stranahan. This wedding party liked to party, to say the least. We did some location pictures downtown & also at Side Cut. Erin wanted shots along the river - I have to say I was a bit concerned with having the entire wedding party down along the river (thankfully the water level was very low!) We didn't lose anyone to the river - success! Although, while they were doing the "jump" shot, we did have one bridesmaid down... Sorry, but I had to share the series of images that show the fall! Sure she can laugh about it now! We also then overtook the playground for some silly shots. Note the picture of the wedding party in front of the jungle jim- usually it's the bride & groom kissing - not a bridesmaid & groomsman! I believe they were married, so no worries!
Nicole & I seriously had the best time - not only was the wedding party a blast, but the vendors that we worked with were the best. I never laughed so much at a reception - our "vendor table" consisted of Nicole & I, April with Your Perfect Day, Dale with Fordham Footage & Joel with Ultimate Nights. I wish every reception was this much fun - my face hurt from laughing so much - Hope to work with you all again soon! Go Dreamteam!
Congratulations, Erin & Kurtis- hope you're continuing to have fun every day!
Ceremony - All Saints Catholic Church, Rossford
Reception - Stranahan
Flowers - Emery's
Cake - Eston's
DJ - Joel with Ultimate Nights
Coordinator - April with Your Perfect Day
Videographer - Dale w/ Fordham Footage

Snow Bunnies!
We had some fun in the snow today shooting these three girls from Anthony Wayne High School. They are all seniors at AW & Sarah's Mom arranged for a session to preserve their memories of their friendship. They are all such beauties & looked awesome in their UGGS & scarves! Sarah, Amber & Nicole - hope you enjoy these shots as much as I enjoyed our session~ Congrats on being Seniors!
Miss Mandy Skates!
I have had the privilege of photographing Mandy since she was @ 2 or 3. She is always sweet, happy & a complete joy to photograph, not to mention adorable. Mandy has discovered her true passion in life (at the ripe ol' age of 6!). She began skating at 4 & is quite the little talent. Is it odd to feel such pride that your eyes well up - when it's not your kid?! I loved watching Mandy show off her routine.
Mandy brought along her American Doll, complete with matching skating outfit for her session. Too adorable! It was great to see you again, Mandy (& Sue) - thanks for sharing your amazing talent with me!

Holiday Wedding with Liz & Rick
Liz & Rick had a Holiday wedding on Dec. 18th. The girls all looked so festive with their red sashes & flowers. The ceremony was at St. Pat's Church with the reception at Stranahan. We ventured out into the very cold for some shots at the Toledo Museum of Art & at Levis Commons. After all, what's a Holiday wedding without a giant Christmas tree & Santa Claus?! The wedding was great, guys! - Thanks for having Nicole & I as part of your special day!
Natalie & Sean's October Wedding
Natalie & Sean were married on October 16th at Joan of Arc church. We had a seasonably warm fall day full of Autumn color! After the ceremony, we did some fun group pictures at Side Cut, then headed downtown for some urban shots. This group was a blast! I try not to over use the same backdrops, but we had to use the pink building downtown since it looked so great with the girls flowers & the guys socks - yes, their argyle socks! Congrats, Natalie & Sean!
Raina & Steve - Mansion View Inn wedding
Raina & Steve were married Thanksgiving weekend at the absolutely stunning Mansion View Inn in downtown Toledo. I was ridiculously excited to finally shoot a wedding there. Anyone that knows me, knows my infatuation with all things old, so it was a perfect venue for me to go crazy shooting. Raina was radiant in her gown that fit the location perfectly. The ceremony was intimate, with only close friends & family. The Inn was fully decorated for the holidays, adding to the intimate atmosphere.
Theresa Marie Williams officiated the ceremony and the food was provided by Ski's restaurant (delicious!) Thank You, Raina & Steve, for trusting Serendipity Photography with these most precious moments.
Katie & Garrett's Wedding
I feel awful that I have waited so long to blog this wedding. I was so excited about getting the images up & here it has been almost 4 months & I'm just now getting them up...
Shooting Katie's wedding was nothing short of bittersweet for me. I was so happy that she asked me to be there, I couldn't imagine anyone else doing it. I have known Katie since she was a very young girl. Her mother was a dear friend of mine. We would work the class parties in grade school together & chat for hours as we dropped the girls off for play dates. Sadly, Wendy passed away unexpectedly when her 3 girls were still very young. This experience was undoubtedly one of the hardest things I have ever witnessed. Wendy is missed to this day.
Katie was a classic, beautiful bride & her husband, Garrett, equally handsome. Since their wedding was a Friday evening, they decided to see one another before the ceremony & to complete all the photographs then. We had Garrett wait on the bridge way at Side Cut & Katie came up behind him. They had such a beautiful, quiet moment to themselves (besides me, Taylor & their entire wedding party peeking behind the trees!)
Everything from the gorgeous September day, beautiful ceremony at St. Rose, amazingly gorgeous couple, fun wedding party, lively reception was absolutely perfect! Wendy would have loved every second of it - I know she is very proud! And so am I
Charity Model Search!
Another cutie kid for the Cutest Kid Contest! I have photographed Jeff multiple times over his little 4 years of life & this is the first time in the past few sessions where we were able to complete the session without the use of sugary bribes! Guess that means he is growing up! Happy 4th Birthday, Jeffrey!

Trash the Dress - Anniversary Style!
I guess I should come up with a different name for these sessions - Trash the Dress tends to freak everyone out! We don't actually "trash" your dress, we just have some fun with it! It's a great time to wear it again in a more relaxed environment, with just you & your "groom"!
Amy saw some other images I did like this & thought it sounded like a fun thing to do for their 10th Anniversary! I agree! She looked great & I was impressed at how cooperative Jay was. Thanks for sharing your Anniversary with me!
