Toledo Botanical Garden wedding ceremony
Nicole & Taylor covered the wedding of Jenny & Joe at Toledo Botanical Gardens a few weeks ago. Looks like it was a beautiful ceremony. Jenny looked amazing & family & friends seemed to enjoy the garden ceremony.
Jenny was the recipient of a raffle prize of a Serendipity Photography package that I donated to the Sals Pals Cystic Fibrosis silent auction in April. So glad that she was able to put it to such good use & support an awesome cause at the same time.
Congratulations, Jenny & Joe!
Details, details,
Hilton Garden Inn looked amazing for Colleen & Matt's reception. They had an incredible band for cocktail hour, beautiful decorations, and a endless cookie buffet. When I saw that, I remembered that Colleen was from the Youngstown area - cookie buffets are traditional in that part of the state. Her mom & family did an outstanding, unbelievable job on the cookies - I've never seen so many different kinds of pretty cookies in one place...yummmmy!
Church - All Saints, Rossford, Ohio
Reception - Hilton Garden Inn, Levis Commons, P-burg
Cake - Eston's
Band - Night Session
DJ - Tony with Class Act
Flowers - Sharry's Touch
Cookie Buffet - the amazing Linda (mom of bride)
Romance shots of Colleen & Matt
Colleen & Matt & their friends!
Another steaming hot day for a wedding, we shot as quick as we possibly could. The girls wore short, summery yellow dresses which were not too bad in the heat, but the guys - sorry, nothing much can be done about tuxes! I seriously thought we just may lose at least one of the guys to the fountains. I have to say, the water did look tempting!
Colleen & Matt's wedding-toledo area wedding photography
Colleen & Matt were married on July 17th in Rossford with the reception at Garden Inn, Levis Commons.
Colleen was the bridesmaid in a previous wedding of mine, in fact I've done two other friends of Colleen & Matt's weddings; Kari & Brian & Allie & Ben. Thanks for "sharing the love", guys - I love to see you all!
Anthony Wayne Senior - toledo area senior photography
I recently did a session with Jamie & her friends from A.W. Now it was time for her own session. It still amazes me that Jamie is a senior - my daughter, Courtney, used to babysit for Jamie & her brothers many years ago.
Jamie is a serious softball player, but still is such a feminine beauty. I think she looks like a Breck Girl - anyone remember Breck girls? Don't worry, Jamie, that's a good thing! Very wholesome, natural, pretty girls who modeled for shampoo centuries ago...
Have a fun senior year, Jamie!
St. Ursula Senior - toledo area senior photographer
Aly is the second St. Ursula senior I have shot in the last couple weeks. She is a friend & row team mate of Kayla, who's session keeps getting rained out!
I met Aly & mom at Wildwood yesterday morning & we were able to get her session in before the humidity was too intolerable - we were about carried away by the mosquitoes, though.
I love Aly's redhair & her adorable freckles!!! So stinkin' cute. Enjoy your few remaining days of summer, Aly!
Family Session
I have photographed Connor many, many times over the last couple years & now have begun photographing little brother, Hugh. I had the opportunity to get together with them, as well as Mom & Dad for a family session last Saturday. Despite Mom being stung by a bee & Connor getting
a splinter in his hand ( a BIG splinter), the session was a lot of fun. I loved their crisp, summery outfits & the weather was so nice - a brief respite from this awful humidity. Great to meet Dad & see the boys again!
Family Session Saturday - toledo area family photographer
Last weekend was the rare Saturday that I actually did not have a Saturday. Those open weekends fill up quickly with family sessions.
I met the Ross Family out at Wildwood for a "surprise" session. I had done Rachel & Brandon's wedding a year and a half ago. Rachel called me to do a family session as a surprise for her parents 25th Anniversary. Dad, Rob, was not too thrilled at the idea of being somewhere unknown on a Saturday morning instead of out on the jet skis, Mom, Cindy, was onto the surprise as the girls told her exactly what to wear. They were both surprised, though, when Brandon pulled up with all 3 dogs! A true family session!
I hope the rest of the Anniversary day went well & that you had a great time. It was wonderful to see you all again!

Mason & Fam - toledo area family photography
Mason is, happily, one of my regulars! I recently did a session with him & his buddies and this time he brought along his parents for a family session. I love watching my little ones grow up & he is no exception. I can hardly believe he is the same little guy that we had dressed in a Santa suit a few short months ago.
Jen & Adam, so glad Mason recovered from the chicken pox so well & was ready for the session. Enjoy the rest of the summer & see you all soon!
Riley - toledo area baby photographer
I was so excited to meet Riley. I photographed his Mom & Dad's wedding a couple years ago. I am always so honored when my Brides & Grooms come back to see me with their new little families - so great to see the full circle!
Riley is an absolutely adorable little almost one year old. So full of energy & spunk - was a bit difficult to keep in the "target area" during his session, but so much fun!
So happy for you, John & Misty - you deserve it!
