Keepin' Up with Christmas Craziness!

Well, ok, I'm trying my best to keep up. Actually, it's pretty late & I can't sleep because my mind is spinning with all that needs to be done in one week! Thought I'd catch up on blogging real quick since I'm too tired to do real work! All orders that I have received are into the lab & John is working day & night to keep up his end. I will have all orders that have been turned in at this point ready for pick up by the weekend. Anything sent in after today will not be guaranteed for Christmas. Please contact me to pick up your orders before Fri. I would greatly appreciate having all "business" done by midday Fri, so I can begin to focus on the holiday and our special family vaca! I will be unavailable after Sat - please be patient if I don't return emails, phone calls - I'm not ignoring you - just unavailable until Jan. 1st! Thanks for your patience during this holiday rush time!

More of Gigi

I had to post a few more from Gigi - too much adorable, precious, cuteness for one blog entry!
Thanks to cousin Laura for giving Gigi's Momma a Serendipity Photography gift certificate! The gift that keeps on giving!

Gigi!!

How cute is her name; Gigi? And she certainly lives up to her name - absolutely adorable! Besides a little fuss when we put her bare bum down on the cold floor, she was so good for her session~ even allowing several outfit changes. Happy 1st Christmas, Gigi!

Classic...but fun

These sibs looked so classic & formal; however, Mom wanted fun shots. They gave me both looks - the kids did great with not looking too stiff & formal and even laughing (although I'm not very funny!) Merry Christmas, kiddos!

Family Portraits

A few last minute photo sessions. I love creative ideas for Xmas photos - and this takes the cake! Tammy & her family decided to get "snuggie" for their photos this year - too cute! Even Spring, their dog, got a snuggie!

More cookies

We missed you, Taylor! See you soon - Do you think it's o.k. to bring cookies through customs?

Cookie Day, 2009

Another of our holiday traditions is cookie day! We have been gathering to bake our special cut outs for as long as I can remember. Frosting, sprinkles, cookie cutters and all - mmmm... Sorry, but this is all the baking I'm going to get to this year. It wouldn't be Christmas without them.

A few more shots of "little kids' night"

Holiday traditions

This past weekend, I was able to take a little bit of time aside from orders & sessions for some holiday traditions. We began the weekend with our "little kids' night". For the past several years, we have invited all our nieces & nephews over for some holiday fun - crafts, pizza making, etc. It gives the kids a night to hang out with their cousins & gives their parents a night to get some shopping done or have a night out. We decided not to do a sleep over this year, as Taylor was not able to be here. I can not stay up all night!! The night was capped off with all the kids taking turns standing on the "stage" and entertaining us by singing (hence, giggling) Christmas Carols - one at a time. We were impressed by their courage & creativity! And, no, the big kids did not sing!

It's Wintre!

No, it's not a typo - this sweet little guy's name is Wintre. He is the adorable newborn of one of my wedding couples. I was so happy that they brought him in for me to meet & take their first family photos - I'm honored! Mom & Dad were as photogenic on their wedding day as they are here - and little Wintre- an absolute angel!

Always the Clowns!

Sorry, Amy, your boys are just clowns! Never going for the traditional smiles, Brody & Cade always give us plenty of laughs - well, they give ME plenty of laughs! Love you guys!

Cousin Christmas

These busy little cousins all came for some holiday portraits. What a treat! Three boys under two! Good thing Devan & Dylan were so helpful in trying to keep them in the frame... All in all, I think we got a few that they can use - even though Mom, Cassie, can be seen hiding under the blanket (the only way we could keep Noah in the picture)...Merry Christmas, boys!
