Winter happenings

January is traditionally slow season for photographers, however, it is a great time for gearing up for the spring, summer & fall seasons! I have been busy looking into new projects & meeting with great people.

I'm so excited to have booked a wedding with Jennifer & Dustin. I look forward to helping design creative, artistic images of their June, 2009 wedding!!

I will be at Giannos' Inn in Maumee on Sun., Feb. 10th for an open house. This is a great time for Brides & Grooms to view this beautiful, historic venue for their rehearsal dinner or reception. Several wedding specialists will be on hand & I am honored to have been invited to participate. Call Giannos or Sounds of Music for details.

Lily!!

I photographed Brian & Annas' engagement & wedding and now get to photograph their beautiful new baby girl-Lily Anna!! How fun is that?!! Congratulations you guys-she's amazing!

Today, I had the pleasure of photographing baby Jeffs' 1st birthday pix. He is the son & grandson of long time friends-how does time go so fast??

A Great 2008

So excited for 2008. It's always good going into a new year with plans for changes & growth! Next week, I will finally be cutting my hours at the hospital down to part time so I can focus even more attention on my photography business. I look forward to attending more informative & educational seminars ,as well as, learning much more about the business aspect of things. This should all result in my being able to produce more quality products & deliver them to my customers in a more efficient manner.
My family will also be celebrating many changes this year. My middle daughter, Courtney, has recently graduated from U.T. with a business degree & has just purchased her first home. Way to go, Court!
Our youngest, Taylor, will be graduating from high school this year & venturing into college life- AAAGGGHH!!
Nicole, our oldest, has now started her Masters' in Higher Education . She currently teaches fifth grade & math classes at Owens, along with assisting me with wedding photography.
Joe & I are very proud of them all & are so excited to watch them become young, independent adults!

Bridal Fair wrap up

Bridal Fair

Spending the weekend at the Stranahan at the "SuperBowl of all Bridal Fairs"! Nicole & I actually really enjoy meeting all the excited new brides-to-be. It's nice to see all the vendors that we work with during the year, also. (I will be posting an entry with preferred vendors-watch for it soon)
